Identify the following structures:
- cerebrum, cerebellum, midbrain, pons, medulla oblongata, arbor vitae, corpus callosum, thalamus, hypothalamus, optic chiasm, frontal lobe, parietal lobe, occitpital lobe, cerebral cortex, gray vs. white matter, aqueduct of Sylvius, lateral ventricles, third ventricle, fourth ventricle, choroid plexus, longitudinal fissure, spinal cord
Since human brains are hard to access many students have to use comparative anatomy to understand the major functional parts of the brain. Even though the images are of sheep brains this will give you a good three dimensional view of the brain and its structures.
