Partners in Closing the Gap. This Partners project aims to pair teachers and school staff with community volunteers to address issues of Human Rights, Racial Equity, and Social Justice in the classroom. The project works well for a variety of disciplines, including math, art, social studies, language arts, ELL, special education, foreign language, interdisciplinary or project-based learning and more. Students and teachers can address issues that they feel are most relevant to their school and surrounding community.
