6 minute video demonstrating making a tessellation tile out of a 3" by 3" square.
Go answer two questions on ASSISTments.
I used a sticky note, it was the perfect size but hard to trace. :( It still worked really well though :) (now my social studies workbook has tesselations on it! :P)
I think it does take time and patience like our graph projects because if you rush through it you might make qa mistake and ruin the whole project.
It is fun but it does take some time and patience like our graph projects. :)
Yes, you can use anything that can be traced Andrew.

"I enjoyed your video. It must be a joy for your students to be able to see your lessons whenever they like and be able to pause and rewind. Great Job.
If this were the olympics you'd be given a 9.9, a near perfect performance. The following comments are merely technical and not related to your ability to teach but your ability to teach without hindrance: While teaching your lesson you stayed very close to your actual cutting and tracing, however at one point you went off screen and this was only for a few seconds. Your title "How to make a tessellation tile video" should actually be "How to make a tessellation tile" video. I initially thought your lesson was how to make a video but quickly noticed the difference when you began teaching. Small technicality.
I really enjoyed your lesson and look forward to seeing more of your easy to follow and fully supported (website help too=URLs). Thank you for an awesome video."
