    Isn't the Trachea considered the "windpipe" and the Pharynx the "throat"? As we breath air passes through the Larynx (voice box) into the trachea, then bronchi, bronchioles, and alveoli. The pharynx is the "food tube" that leads to the stomach.

      yes, larynx and trachea (etc) are scientific names for it.

      yes it is the pharynx is also used for air liquid and food without the pharynx we would not be able to communicate or talk
