Invertebrates are animals without a backbone.

Invertebrate animals are cold blooded and are unable to regulate their own body temperature.

Roughly 97 percent of all animals are invertebrates. There are many different types of species that are considered invertebrates.

Examples of invertebrates include: Insects, Worms, Snails, Clams, Spiders, Squids, Coral
