Cytoplasm

The cytoplasm is the area between the cell membrane and the nucleus of the cell. It is a thick gel like fluid that contains the many organelles of the cell. The cytoplasm is generally clear in color and is mostly made up of water. Cytoplasm can be found in both plant and animal cells.
