English Language Arts: Grades 6-8

In Grade 6, Grade 7 and Grade 8, students develop reading skills that allow them to analyze structure, separate fact from opinion, and draw on text to support their claims. They write effectively using credible sources and present claims, evidence, and counterclaims in a cohesive way. They communicate logically and coherently while listening critically and asking meaningful questions.
