Two figures are congruent if they are the same shape and size. We can think of “congruent” as meaning “equal,” but it’s much more specific. All Corresponding Parts in two triangles must have equal measurements in order for the triangles to be congruent. Upon completion of this pathway, you will be able to use different congruence postulates, or truth statements, such as ASA Triangle Congruence, to identify Congruent Triangles.
