I really learned a lot about instructional coaching. I will use this information as I mentor other teachers.

While I did learn some things about instructional coaching that I didn't already know and that will be helpful to me, I found the multiple choice format did not allow me to really know that I understand the concepts. I do understand that in a free online course it is difficult to provide appropriate types of assignments that demonstrate student learning, but having something other than fill-in-the-blank, matching, or multiple choice would have made me feel like I had learned more than just facts.

I liked that the course wasn't isn't about how to use my iPad. It is about understanding why and when digital tools can help me to engage and support my students better.

I really like that the course makes me accountable for my own learning. I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues but it is nice that I don't need to wait for someone else to move on with my learning.
