Take a trip that is out of the world - literally! Space Sciences is packed with an arsenal of information about the world beyond our borders. You will learn about the planets in our solar system, such as Mars and Jupiter, and even learn about the advances in space travel. Have you ever wondered what Mars is like On the Surface? You will be able to identify the types of data that can be collected by instruments such as Curiosity, the most technically capable land rover ever built. In the Introduction to the Mars Science Laboratory, you will learn about the Planning that takes place before the Launch into outer space. Once equipment has safely started the journey, learn how to calculate the rate of an object based on the distance it travels over time in Transit and Landing. Let this subject be your guide on a journey to Mars.​
