Number Decomposition

When you think of decomposition, you might think about breaking something down into smaller pieces. Number Decomposition breaks larger numbers down into smaller numbers. You will learn a variety of ways to break down a number, such as Decomposing through Division, or Decomposing through Addition. Knowing how to decompose a number is an important skill in more advanced mathematics topics such as factoring and simplifying expressions. Number Decomposition is also a simple too to rewrite a mathematical expression in a different way, making it easier for you to evaluate.
