10 step to write an excellent essay

1. Research. Start writing an essay with your research on the topic, prove yourself an expert in this matter. In case you write Romeo and Juliet's essay, it's better to search for some  Romeo and Juliet essay prompts. Read other people's work. You can use other sources of information - the Internet, various academic developments, libraries. Make short notes, collect information, immerse yourself in the thoughts of great scientists, thinkers and just smart people.

2. Analysis. Now that you have a good knowledge base, begin to analyze the arguments and arguments presented in the essay that you are reading. Clearly define the requirements, write down the reasons and obvious points. Try to find weak and strong points in the logic of the authors. Remember: to learn how to write an essay in English (as, indeed, in any other), it is necessary to analyze works written by other people.

3. "Brainstorming." Your essay requires you to understand your genius. Ask yourself a few questions and answer them. Meditate with a pen in your hands. You can walk around the room, but do not forget to think, think and think until you are illuminated by the original idea, which can be expressed in your essay.

4. Theses. Choose your best ideas, thoughts and catch yourself on the word that around this you can develop your thought. Abstracts are your reference points, main thoughts, compressed into concise sentences that allow the reader to understand where your thoughts come from and why. It is impossible to write an essay without highlighting clear points.

5. The plan. Sketch your work on paper. Use draft sentences to describe paragraphs and the main point these paragraphs will express. Play with paragraph order and thoughts in your essay. Make a map of your arguments and make sure the paragraphs are related in meaning.

6. Introduction. Now sit down and start writing an already final version of the essay. The introduction should interest the reader. Set the problem (main question, essay topic) and follow it in your theses. The introduction is simply the beginning of the development of the topic itself, a way of bringing the reader to the main arguments. When translating your thoughts into English, be sure to use words and phrases correctly. Otherwise, look at reference materials or refuse complex expressions, replacing them with simpler ones.

7. Paragraphs (paragraphs). Each paragraph should be focused on a specific thought, an idea that supports the thesis. Begin paragraphs with suggestions on the topic, reinforce the statements with illustrative examples, and state your thoughts most clearly and sensibly possible. Talk to the reader as if he was sitting in front of you. In other words, try not to write, but to speak in the form of an essay.

8. Conclusion. Gracefully end your essay with a summary concluding part. Then put an end to some catchy thought, perhaps a quote or an interesting twist of thought, or even a call to action. Do you want the reader to go and do something? Let him or she understand exactly what.

9. Do not forget about the adopted MLA format. Make your essay in English according to accepted citation rules. For all ideas and quotes taken from other people's works, you need to put links in the text and attach a list of used literature to the work.

10. Language. Since we write essays in English, you must be sure to follow all the rules and the correct use of words. Keep track of spelling, punctuation, text style. Do not make too long sentences with a lot of punctuation marks. Get rid of those English words and phrases that you are not sure about the correct use. The essay is ready.
