1.3 - Measurement

Author: Kyle Webb

Measurement means assigning a numerical value to an attribute of an object.  For example, the attribute could be the length of a segment, the area of a figure, the radius of a circle, or the distance between two points in space.  We use formulas involving measurement on a daily basis, and in this section we will review some of the formulas we already know as well as develop new formulas you will use throughout this course.
