5.1 Write Linear Equations In Slope-Intercept Form

1.Write an equation of a line whose slope is 3/5 and whose y-intercept is 8.

The equation you use for slope-intercept form is y=mx+b.

Where m=slope and b=y-intercept

You plug your slope 3/5 in for m and your y-intercept 8 in for b.

That's basically the only thing you need to do to make the equation.

Your equation should look like this.

Y=3/5x+8

That is how you write an equation in Slope-Intercept form.
