Tutorial

Active listening exercise- "A Garage Full of Memories"

This is an active listening exercise.

Directions: First listen to the story and take notes. Review your notes.

Then, listen to the story again writing the numbers 1-20 down and listening only for the items that match the numbers one to twenty which are listed in order in the story.

Which was easier? The first time when you didn't know what was important or the second time when you did and knew exactly what to listen for?

Active Listening

This is a PowerPoint slide show about managing listening distractions and about active listening.
