The method used in this lesson is an algebraic method. Graphing the parabola to find the x-intercepts (roots/zeros) is another method that can be used. I'll show you how to use your graphing calculators to do this in class the next time we meet.

1) Complete the "On Your Own" problems from the lesson. Show your work!

2) Write a summary of the lesson. Use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and complete sentences.

We will be working on the assignment given below the next time we meet in class. You may get started on it ahead of time if you'd like.
