  • In  a group, students will collect data (student height, student shadow length, and a tall figure's shadow length.
  • Using similar right triangles, students will determine the height of the assigned unknown figure.
  • Using the known data, students will calculate the angle of elevation for the unknown figure.
  • As a group, students will create an electronic poster, power point, prezi, animation, etc. to illustrate their understanding of the concept and solution process
