At the end of the lesson students will be able to describe the structure of atoms, including the masses, electrical charges, and locations, of protons and neutrons in the nucleus and electrons in the electron cloud


Students will know how to count the parts of an atom.  The protons, neutrons, and electrons.  They will also be able to use subtraction to calculate the number of neutrons.  Students will utilize the "APEMAN" strategy to accomplish this goal.
