What is Blended Learning?

Blended learning is traditional classroom methods in addition to online methods and resources.  It is an integrated approach to learning that allows instruction to be elevated beyond regular methods.


Why Use Blended learning

Blended learning allows the combination of face to face instruction as well as online learning. Students and instructors can benefit form blended learning because it allows more coverage of the lessons being covered as well as more time for students to complete lessons. Also, students can contribute to assignments by helping one another with instruction and completion of work but it blended learning still allows each individual to be creative and do their own work.

One of the main benefits of blended learning is it is allowing more instructors to experiment and push the envelop as far as technology and learning are concerned.
