Summarize and Reflect

It is important to reflect on what you've learned and how this can be incorporated into your current practices.

  • Review your district's acceptable use or responsible use policy to determine what is allowable in your classroom.
  • Consider the level of understanding that your students have about digital citizenship and their digital footprint.
  • Design lessons to directly teach digital citizenship based upon your students' current understanding.
  • Select a lesson to adapt using Webb's and Revised Bloom's Taxonomy.
  • Consider how you will choose tools and begin to integrate technology to allow students to think create, critically think, collaborate and communicate.

What's Next?

Once you have finished with this second tutorial, complete the quiz questions and move on to "Creating and Managing a Virtual Classroom" the third tutorial in this professional development series.
