Cells Introduction

You will get to learn a bit more about cells. This tutorial has a few links to some great resources. You will have a mini quiz to help you learn. At the end, you will be connected to a Google Form where you will have to write a short response about what you have learned.

NGSS Standard covered in this tutorial:

MS-LS1-1Conduct an investigation to provide evidence that living things are made of cells; either one cell or many different numbers and types of cells. 

This website gives a great, brief description of the organelles as well as the difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.

Here is a great resource on learning about prokaryotic cells. You do not need to go through the whole lesson posted, but you can if you would like.
