Communication Process
Complete the following table.
Reviewthe steps of the communication model on in Ch. 1 of Business Communication. (See Figure 1.3).
Identify one personal or business communication scenario.
Describe each step of that communication using your personal or business scenario. Use detailed paragraphs in the boxes provided.
Steps of communication model

Personal or business scenario

1.     Sender has an idea.
Sender has an idea to better improve communication in the workplace. (front office)

2.     Sender encodes the idea in a message.
Sender encodes messages giving input on email and CC’ng everyone to be on the same page and to always check on it first thing in the morning.

3.     Sender produces the message in a medium.
Sender sends an appropriate message to the workers in a staff meeting to present her message.

4.     Sender transmits message through a channel.
Message is then reminded and transmitted to all of the workers of reminder.

5.     Audience receives the message.
Make sure everyone is on the same page by sending notice reminder as an urgent msg.

6.     Audience decodes the message.
Audience will now picture the idea and will have to worker harder to make the changes and pay attention.

7.     Audience responds to the message.
Respond back so everyone is on the same page. Communication has already begun and improving already.

8.     Audience provides feedback to the sender.
Giving oral feedback in person.
