Design for Disassemly

Design for disassembly is becoming crucial for product designers. We are looking to move towards a circular economy where products are leased rather than bought. Designing for disassembly allows products to be taken apart and components replaced easily. However, most current products don't allow for this as they are often difficult to disassemble and joined heavily with adhesives.
