Professional dispositions were introduced in ECH-480 during the first week of your student-teaching experience. The purpose of the assignment was to help you become familiar with and implement the GCU list of "Professional Dispositions of Learners" as a guide to your professional appearance, knowledge, deportment, character, and interactions within your student teaching. Reflect on each disposition and prioritize the 10 dispositions according to their importance to your new teaching role.
1. Review "Professional Dispositions of Learners" and your initial top 10 list from Topic 1 of ECH-480.
2. Create a table or chart comparing your initial list from Topic 1 of ECH-480 and the updated current list.
3. After reviewing your initial list and reflecting on your student teaching experiences, how have your perspectives changed on rating the dispositions? Which have changed? Which have not? Why or why not?
4. In addition to your comparison chart, compose an analytical reflection of 500-750 words of your perspective on the 10 dispositions before and after your student teaching experience.
While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
