Part 1: Presentation
Choose a content standard at your target grade level.
Prepare an 8-10 slide multimedia presentation of an interactive lesson that could be used by the students in the classroom or at home on your website.
Include at least three multimedia elements such as voice over narration, video clips, animation or interactive items. (Be sure to follow copyright/creative common laws)
Some suggestions for format include: PowerPoint, Prezi, Google Docs, Metta.
Post your presentation on your website.
Part 2: Blog Post
Research how technology would be used to facilitate and enhance instruction in your classroom.
In a Word document, prepare a 500-750 word draft version of Section 3: Integrating Instructional Technology of the Comprehensive Classroom Technology Plan. Support your explanation with 3-5 scholarly resources.
Copy the draft of Section 3: Integrating Instructional Technology into a blog post titled Presentation Technology. Include the reference page.
Prepare this assignment according to the GCU guidelines found in the GCU Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
The instructor will provide commentary on your draft, which you will then use as a basis for revising this section. The revised section will then become part of the complete Comprehensive Classroom Technology Plan (Benchmark Assignment), which is due in Topic 7.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
You are required to submit this assignment to Turnitin. Refer to the Student Success Center for directions.
Submit your written draft and website link in a document to your instructor by the end of Topic 4.
