Description:

TEK 6.7A - Students will research and debate the advantages and disadvantages of using coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear power, biomass, wind, hydropower, geothermal, and solar resources.  

Students will watch a video lesson on Renewable and Nonrenewable energy resources and complete activities from the WSQ (wisk) handout. WSQ stands for Watch, Summary, Question. Students watch the video, summarize what they have learned and submit a question to be answered by their peers or the teacher. Students will then create a presentation debating which energy source is best.
