Students will learn how to express and communicate ideas or emotions visually, and critique their own and their peers' work.

Students will study the work of artists that use symbolism, color and representation to express themselves visually. Students will create artwork that expresses their own ideas and will work through this project beginning with sketches, collecting reference materials, executing their project and writing a personal critique of their work.
