Perfect square: a number that when taken the square root of, the answer will be an integer

Square root: a number a such that a2 = n, or the number a such that √n = a

Perfect square trinomials: the answer produced by squaring a binomial (i.e. (x + d)2 = x2 + 2ad + d2)

Difference of perfect squares: satisfies the formula x2 - a2 = (x + a)(x - a)
