Description:

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to read, write, and identify fractions of a set and explain verbally and in writing their thought process in doing so.

The numerator specifies the parts or individual objects in the set. An extension of this lesson includes finding a fraction of a set to a set of objects divided into equal subsets.
