What Would Gauss Do: How to Solve a System of Linear Equations via Gaussian Elimination

In this lesson, I'll take you through every step of representing a system of three linear equations (with variables x, y, and z) as an augmented matrix, and then solving it with elementary row operations using a strategy developed by Carl Friedrich Gauss (and also some Chinese mathematicians, independently, many centuries earlier). I'll explain what I'm doing at every step, so don't be intimidated by the amount of scratchwork it involves!
