I believe teaching awareness is above all one of the most important aspects of undertaking any science. But to really encompass the true accumulation of knowledge is to expand your horizons. Spirituality & Science.

You will be exposed with rudimentary knowledge of your cognitive capacities and how to improve them based on scientific analysis , namely through the understanding of Physics, Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology & Chemistry and of course the wisdom of pure being/true self.

This Theory tries to encompass a novice summarization of the things we should know that the human race has been accumulating from the hard work of visionaries and revised reason & logic.

When we think and look out into the universe, do we marvel on what we think and see? Well all that is part of a interconnected system functioning as a whole to create a present consciousness. The external influences of chemicals and the laws of nature have their influence to structure it. We come to a stand point with the Brain. The most complex organ in the body. The organ that puts all this together and channels it through imagination. Now imagination is the key to life. What we achieved would never have come about without imagination.

We've mapped several places for the source of imagination and it seems to be throughout the brain interlocked like a computer database; Neurons are brain cells that grow out towards each other as axons continue to expand with repetitive use/exposure, theses communicate with each other by synapses and get bigger and stronger.

Physics is a extension of our minds because essential it is mathematics. Our brain is subconsciously calculating physics and math all the time, for example sports games, your brain calculates route, velocity and future scenario's based from past experience/models.

Gathering all this information is part of the journey to create a duality of awareness and knowledge.

Neuroplasticity & Meditation

Neuroplasticity (from neural - pertaining to the nerves and/or brain and plastic - moldable or changeable in structure) refers to changes in neural pathways and synapses which are due to changes in behavior, environment and neural processes, as well as changes resulting from bodily injury.

Your mind is not static but actually constantly changing, it is actually your choice or rather situation that does not permit you to live outside your socially and psychologically constructed image of reality and yourself. While the study of satang is required there is a multitude of science involved with spiritual aspirations. Rooted in all their pseudoscientific theories is the truth reinforced with science.

Satsang (This is not factual but it is part of the course to flip some switches in your noggin).

Create a mind state of knowing that there is nothing but the present moment and that everything else is just thoughts and or memories. Because thoughts are just memories been repeated in the mind, we interpret these thoughts with the story we have imagined, usually negative or positive, which triggers the corresponding emotional responses. To get out of this cycle is to acknowledge and know that you are just a human being, experiences the oneness of a diverse organism called the universe. What we must understand that all there is, all we ever know or we think we know or believe is our imagination, now imagination is everything. Your sense organs are part of the imagination they are a way to transmit and receive reality. Reality isn't real you create it with your imagination. You cannot be sure of anything and that tying down to any belief system is constructing barriers for the imagination. The Imagination is limitless, it has no boundaries, only the ones we set for ourselves. The true reality is infinity. We are part of that infinite paradox of evolution.

Now, I've just given you something to meditate on.

How to meditate, focus on breathing to clear the on going thought process and start exploring your thought patterns. Dismiss thoughts as quickly as they pop up all the while knowing that this separation from thought and being will improve awareness and cognitive capacity. Choose to expand on any (preferably positive)  thoughts or ideas that you seem reasonable, you may find yourself lost in a thought for even 10 minutes in a blink of an eye! just keep going with the original plan!

The ritual of meditation; the act of training the mind increases awareness, disposing off emotional connections towards thoughts and really making room in your brain for the true intellectuals toolkit. ~Neferium

Meditation Strengthens the Brain http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/03/120314170647.htm  http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/10/121018102754.htm

Meditation will train varies cognitive abilities required to access and use the true potential of your brain.

- A consistency and dedication is required for a substantial increase in cognitive/brain capacity.

- Avoiding over activity and essentially dozens of mental illnesses prone to the negative thoughts/emotions leading to further negative behavior/thoughts.

- Decrease temperaments from brain's Amygdala
(brains fear centre) which in turn increases, in short, clarity and physiological wellbeing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amygdala

- Cycling through negative thoughts creates dispositions due to elevated levels of amygdala activity which leads to impairment of growth and permanent brain chemistry damage.

- Meditation expands the neural tissues of the cerebral cortex by a process called gyrification, where the surface of the brain undergoes changes to create narrow furrows and folds called sulci and gyri. Their formation may promote and enhance neural processing. Presumably then, the more folding that occurs, the better the brain is at processing information, making decision, forming memories and so forth.

- The insula has been suggested to function as a hub for autonomic, affective and cognitive integration," "Meditators are known to be masters in introspection and awareness as well as emotional control and self-regulation"
 To expand the Insula Cortex
is a portion of the cerebral cortex folded deep within the lateral sulcus, the fissure separating the temporal and the frontal lobes, it is a large portion of CONSCIOUSNESS and operates perception, motor control, self-awareness, cognitive functioning, and interpersonal experience.

In conclusion you will be able to regulate dopamine and fuel your thought process like Albert Einstein! (just a famous icon who stands for all the philosophers & scientists who made a intellectual contribution and revolutionized thinking and engineering).

Lateral view of the right cortical surface where the gyrification can be seen "folding" over the cortex . The red circle indicates where the maximum effect occurred.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” ~Albert Einstein.
