This is an extension of Montessori lesson "Graphs from Story Problems, presentation #3", found on page 33 of the 2013 MSTEM album from St. Catherine University, St. Paul, MN.

The lesson extension has been adapted for adolescents.. Students are instructed on how to choose a topic and collect data, so that the end results can make a difference for the better in their scool or in their world.
