Greater than, Less than, or Equal to?


To distinguish between the greater than, less than, and equal to signs. 

MCCK.CC.6 Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies.

Students will be able to see an example for all of the different terms. They will have a PowerPoint to look at.  They will see the definition for each term, have a trick to remember each term, and an example of each term. The students will take a quick quiz to see if they have understood the PowerPoint and from there the teacher can extend and continue working on the skills.
