Finding the Greatest Common Factor & Least Common Multiple of two numbers.
After a discussion of what students knew about GCF & LCM, and they demonstrated how they would go about finding their solutions. I showed the Venn Diagram Method, then the Modified Flow Chart. Students had a choice of how they wanted to solve these types of problems.
This choice was important as the closing of this lesson is a creation of a problem, a solution, made in the app of their choice from their device, shared to teacher and class, then presented. The student receives a math grade as well as a Tech/Presentation grade.
