The objective in this lesson is to train the young musician to read notated rhythms correctly, with the aide of their small group. 

In this lesson, students play the traditional game of jenga with a twist. Students are given a skills sheet with the directions, and a chart. The chart is for rhythms the students don't know how to clap or perform. 

The students will choose who goes first, and as each student draws a jenga block, he or she has to perform the rhythm that is written on it. Upon success, the student stacks the block on top the stack
