Independent and Dependent variable in an experiment

The student will specify and understand variables that change and are controlled.

You will be conducting a lab in class to determine the independent and dependent variables as well as using the steps in the scientific method.  Remember Independent variables are manipulated by the scientist and the dependent variable is responding to the changes. No matter how many times you do the lab or experiment the independent variable should stay the same, but the dependent could change.
