Introduction to Fairy Tales First Grade


At the end of this lesson students will be able to identify the elements of a fairy tale using a teacher made chart.

1. At home, students will watch the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood

2.  At home, students will watch a teacher made presentation about the fairy tale elements present in the story

3. In class, students will read/listen to various stories based on their reading ability, in small groups and use the teacher made chart to determine if it is a fairy tale.

4. In class, students will create a flow map for their own original fairy tale using the teacher made chart.
