Founded in 1990, CARD has been a leader in top-quality, evidence-based autism treatment services across center, home, school, and community settings for decades. CARD’s mission is to develop and disseminate treatment, research, and advocacy resources to the global autism community to ensure that individuals with autism have the tools they need to fulfill their potential.

Map of Card Centers

Behavior technicians are the backbone of CARD, working one-on-one with children, teens, and adults on the autism spectrum to help them reach their maximum potential. Students who complete the Behavior Technician Training presented by Capella may be eligible for employment opportunities at a location near them, where they can complete the remaining requirements for both the Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) and Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT®) certifications. In addition, CARD behavior technicians receive ongoing supervision from Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBAs®), field experience, continuing education, tuition discounts, and professional development in order to maintain and build on their certifications.

Some CARD sites may have space to complete the 15 hours of supervision required to obtain your BCAT. Please look here for more information.
