Linear Systems of Equations

Systems of Linear Equations

When do we use linear systems? When we have two situations that work together that both have the same variables. For example:

when you ride your bike against the wind
when you paddle upstream
when you want to know your break even point for selling things that you make
when you want to know how long it would take two sump pumps to get rid of the water in your basement.

Use the following website to learn about linear systems. Concentrate on the graphing method. We will learn the other methods later.

This site includes a online graphing calculator that you can use to solve linear systems. Here is the direct link to it: http://www.meta-calculator.com/online/

When you are done reading the tutorial, do the quiz so that I know you know. You know?
