Windows has been around since 1985, with Windows 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 being graphical user interfaces (GUI)for DOS.  Windows 95 started the modern GUI design, progressing through to Windows 7.  Windows 8 is the first major GUI change since Windows 95.  This module looks at Windows through the years.

Windows comes with several built in tools for troubleshooting problems.  We look at several including the Event Viewer, Task manager, and System configuration utility.  This is a very basic overview with greater depth provided in future classes.
