Anne Lara, Ed.D, MS, RN, , CPHQ, CPHRM, is a Capella University RN-BSN Program Core Faculty. She is a registered nurse with over 40 years of healthcare experience in not only clinical settings but also in the information technology industry. She has successfully implemented programs in the areas of bone marrow transplant, pain management, oncology nursing education, radiation oncology, case management, patient education, and caregiver support; and obtained FDA 510k clearance for medical devices. She has been responsible for the development and market launch of software to support clinicians in the areas of critical care, cardiology, oncology, medicine, and the operating room. Her research has focused on the quality of life of cancer patients, competency management, and leadership development. Anne holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from the University of Delaware and a doctoral degree in Innovation and Leadership from Wilmington University.
