Summary:
Students will explore black boxes and create a model showing what they believe the inside looks like without opening the box, ultimately showing how the system works. Their current model will be based on collaboration with peers.
Students will be able to:
Make observations using a variety of senses
Create conceptual models based on evidence
Communicate models based on discussion and scientific drawings
Build physical models to compare to conceptual models
Modify and revise models based on additional evidence
