The objective for this tutorial is to see how Podcasting is an educational trend in today's society. It is important to note that Podcasting is basically teaching by an audio file over the internet or music library.

Podcasting is becoming more and more popular because it allows teachers to teach a lesson over an audio file. This can give the teacher flexibility with time during the actual classroom time. Time in the classroom is very important, and it is vital to use all the teaching time for the better good of the students. Some argue that Podcasting is not good way to teach because there is a difference between having a teacher physically in the classroom rather than not having a teacher present. There are followers of both sides, but Podcasting does create benefits in the classroom by having the "lecture" recorded.
