Point of View lesson 3 (yr7)

Point of View lesson 3 (yr7)

Author: Jane Ward

This tutorial is to help you to understand narrative point of view (narrative viewpoint).

Watch the video on narrative viewpoint then read through the power point slides. The power point has a scenario - it is not from the novel - and the scenario is told from different points of view. It enables you to see the effect of telling a story from a different point of view. You will need to consider the effect of viewpoint on the story told in the class novel.

Point of View

This video was created by another teacher to explain the different types of point of view found in stories.

Example of points of view

In this powerpoint you will see slides with three different versions of a scenario. You will need to consider from which point of view the story is told. You will also need to consider the point of view in the class novel. Take the quiz to see if you are right.
