While reading short stories and poems written by Edgar Allan Poe we will be looking at 8.R.L.4 & 8.R.L.6 focusing on word choice, tone, connotation, and point of view.
Students will:
1.Learn about the different types of points of views (1st-3rd)
2. They will practice being able to identify what type of point of view they see in a piece of writing.
3. Understand the expectations on writing their paragraph on point of view and the building of the effect of suspense.
At the end of this tutorial you should know how to explain how the character point of view helps to create the suspense effect. And the expectations on how to create the paragraph analysis for your next proficiency.
