Color has a great effect on the mood and emotions of people. Various hues, shades, and tones can influence an individual differently. These colors subconsciously affect positively or negatively on the feelings (for new fillings try the video chat), temper, appetite, and so on of human beings. Moreover, in some extreme cases, color psychology can even get you into depression or anxiety.

We feel these psychological responses in our day to day life. For example, we feel gloomy and sad when we enter a dim and shady room. You may also feel sudden hunger and craving for a colorfully decorated dish or dessert. All these are related to color psychology. There are some colors that restrain our appetite, whereas some make us eat like mad.

When different colors like Reds, Blues, Greens, and Oranges, are connected with our past experiences, they can have different influences on our mood, good or bad, according to the kind of experience. For instance, if color is associated with the loss of a dear one, it will definitely be your least favorite color.

The effect of color psychology is not common to all. It is not necessary that such kind of effect will apply equally to every individual. But several researches have confirmed such behavior in a large number of people across North America.

Color psychology also varies as per culture and gender. Different cultures can have a different approaches towards color psychology because different colors in different cultures have different meanings.
