1. Identify various quadrilaterals including parallelogram, rectangle, rhombus, square, and kite.
2. Determine angles and segment lengths of various quadrilaterals.
3. Use distance, midpoint, and slope to determine various coordinates and segments of quadrilaterals.
As we have already discussed, quadrilaterals are four-sided polygons. In the previous section, we looked at one special type of quadrilateral, the parallelogram. Parallelograms can further be classified into rhombi, squares and rectangles, and in this section, we will examine the attributes of each of these as well as exploring two additional quadrilaterals, the trapezoid and the kite.
