Use properties of rational and irrational numbers. 3. Explain why the sum or product of two rational numbers is rational; that the sum of a rational number and an irrational number is irrational; and that the product of a nonzero rational number and an irrational number is irrational.

Students will be able to to explain why the sum of product of two rational numbers is rational and do the the same with irrational.

Students will watch the two video then look at the notes from the website that was given.  After watching the video and looking at the notes students will take the quiz.
