Students will be able to:
1) Define the math terms reduce/simplify and Greatest Common Factor (GCF)
2) Find the factors and GCF of a set of numbers (numerator/denominator)
3) Reduce fractions using the GCF.
This video guides students through the process of reducing/simplifying fractions. The last two pages of the video are the pages I would use as their homework and how I would assess their understanding of the concept during the next class meeting.
