Slope Intercept Form

Author: Andrew N

4.5 notes

Slope-Intercept Form- y=Mx+b in which case m is your slope( Y2-Y1 divided by X2-X1) and b is your y intercept.

In a real life problem the slope would be the rate of change and the y intercept would be your rate of change and y would be your final answer.

In the future you should be able to see a completed equation, y=3x+8, and find the slope and y intercept, slope=3 Yi=8.
